1. iOS App — data stored on your device

1. iOS-app — gegevens op je apparaat

The iOS app stores all your portfolio data — transactions, assets, debts, tax settings, and preferences — exclusively on your device using Apple SwiftData and standard iOS storage. No account is required and no data is transmitted to Dividendje servers (there are none). De iOS-app slaat al je portfoliogegevens — transacties, bezittingen, schulden, belastinginstellingen en voorkeuren — uitsluitend op je eigen apparaat op via Apple SwiftData en standaard iOS-opslag. Er is geen account vereist en er worden geen gegevens naar Dividendje-servers verstuurd (die bestaan niet).

If you use the Box 3 real estate feature, the app stores any property addresses you enter (including any coordinates used for map display) on-device only. This address data is never transmitted off your device. Als je de Box 3-vastgoedfunctie gebruikt, slaat de app alle door jou ingevoerde adressen van onroerend goed op (inclusief eventuele coördinaten voor kaartweergave) — uitsluitend op je apparaat. Deze adresgegevens worden nooit van je apparaat verstuurd.

The iOS app requests current market prices, dividend data, and currency exchange rates from Yahoo Finance. These requests are made directly from your device to Yahoo Finance's servers in the United States — not via Dividendje. The requests include only ticker symbols and date ranges. No personal financial data (quantities, purchase prices, or account details) is included. De iOS-app vraagt actuele marktprijzen, dividenddata en wisselkoersen op bij Yahoo Finance. Deze verzoeken worden rechtstreeks verstuurd van jouw apparaat naar de servers van Yahoo Finance in de Verenigde Staten — niet via Dividendje. De verzoeken bevatten uitsluitend tickersymbolen en datumbereiken. Er worden geen persoonlijke financiële gegevens (aantallen, aankoopprijzen of accountgegevens) meegestuurd.

Your IP address is visible to Yahoo Finance's servers as part of the standard network request. Yahoo Finance's own privacy policy applies to those requests. Je IP-adres is zichtbaar voor Yahoo Finance's servers als onderdeel van het standaard netwerkverzoek. Het privacybeleid van Yahoo Finance is van toepassing op die verzoeken.

When you choose to connect your Bitvavo account, the app uses your API key and secret to call Bitvavo's API directly from your device to import your trade history and balances. This integration is strictly read-only — the app cannot place orders, withdraw funds, or change your Bitvavo account in any way. When connected, the app calls api.bitvavo.com directly. Bitvavo's own privacy policy applies to those requests. Dividendje is not affiliated with Bitvavo B.V. When the app fetches market data, your device sends requests to Yahoo Finance servers located in the United States. These requests contain only ticker symbols — no personal financial data. Yahoo Finance operates under Verizon Media's privacy framework. There is no transfer of personal data to Dividendje or any third party other than Yahoo Finance and, if connected, Bitvavo. Wanneer de app marktdata ophaalt, verstuurt je apparaat verzoeken naar Yahoo Finance-servers in de Verenigde Staten. Deze verzoeken bevatten uitsluitend tickersymbolen — geen persoonlijke financiële gegevens. Yahoo Finance opereert onder het privacyraamwerk van Verizon Media. Er vindt geen doorgifte van persoonsgegevens plaats naar Dividendje of een derde partij, behalve Yahoo Finance en, indien verbonden, Bitvavo.

6. Jouw controle over je gegevens

• Delete all transactions: Transactions screen → ⋯ menu → Clear All Transactions.
• Alle transacties verwijderen: Transactie-scherm → ⋯-menu → Alles wissen.
• Disconnect Bitvavo: Settings → Bitvavo → Disconnect (removes credentials from Keychain).
• Bitvavo loskoppelen: Instellingen → Bitvavo → Verbreek verbinding (verwijdert sleutels uit Keychain).
• Delete everything: Remove the Dividendje app from your iPhone. All SwiftData storage, Keychain entries, and app preferences are permanently deleted.
• Alles verwijderen: Verwijder de Dividendje-app van je iPhone. Alle SwiftData-opslag, Keychain-items en app-instellingen worden permanent verwijderd.

7. Your rights under GDPR

Because all personal data processed by Dividendje (other than IP-address requests to Yahoo Finance and Bitvavo, which you initiate) remains on your device, you exercise most data rights by managing the app directly. You can also contact dehaasjulian@gmail.com to exercise your rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection under Articles 15–21 GDPR. Omdat alle persoonsgegevens die Dividendje verwerkt (met uitzondering van IP-adresverzoeken aan Yahoo Finance en Bitvavo, die jij zelf initieert) op je apparaat blijven, oefen je de meeste gegevensrechten uit door de app direct te beheren. Je kunt ook contact opnemen via dehaasjulian@gmail.com om je rechten op inzage, rectificatie, wissing, beperking of bezwaar (Art. 15–21 AVG) uit te oefenen.

• Art. 6(1)(b) — contract: Fetching market prices from Yahoo Finance is necessary to display portfolio valuations you have requested.
• Art. 6(1)(b) — overeenkomst: Het ophalen van koersen via Yahoo Finance is noodzakelijk om de door jou gevraagde portefeuillewaarden te tonen.
• Art. 6(1)(b) — contract: Calling Bitvavo's API with your credentials (when you connect) is necessary to import your crypto data as you have requested.
• Art. 6(1)(b) — overeenkomst: Het aanroepen van de Bitvavo API met jouw sleutels (wanneer je verbindt) is noodzakelijk om je cryptodata te importeren zoals jij hebt verzocht.
